Beauty Theory Team
Cynthia Roland
Cynthia Roland is a licensed medical aesthetician. She has always been passionate about skin health and wellness. She began her career as a Skin Care Specialist in 1998, and has had the opportunity to work in the field with Plastic Surgeons and Medical Spas where she has been certified to perform medical-grade skin care. During this time she has trained with some of the top cosmeceutical companies in the industry.
During Cynthia’s career as an aesthetician, she had experience as a successful Spa Coordinator for 6 years, was certified in permanent make-up by Boca Beauty Institute in 2007, she has also held a massage therapy license for almost 3 decades. She is certified in many skincare lines and services such as chemical peels, micro-needling, hydra-facials, diamond glow, microdermabrasion, derma-planing, hyper-pigmentation / rosacea and wrinkle transformation, sublime and sublative RF, waxing, skin consultations, Expert in ZO Skin Health.
On a more personal note, she is happily married and a mother of two beautiful daughters. When not working, she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, working on art projects, loves spending time with family and friends, and hopes to continue her travels one day as she lived and worked overseas for 6 years.
Emma Robertson
Emma Robertson is a licensed medical aesthetician. She is passionate about skincare and helping people feel their best. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing facial or a customized skincare routine, Emma is here to help. She is proud to be certified in ZO, Skinmedica, and Diamond Glow. These certifications allow her to provide the highest quality skincare services to her clients.
Emma was born in Jacksonville Florida and attended Jacksonville Electrology laser & skincare academy, as well as Paul Mitchell the cosmetology school. She loves all things about the beauty industry and is consistently in training to advance her skill set and grow with the industry. We are excited to have such talent join the Beauty Theory Family!
When she is not in the spa room, you can find her dancing, reading or with her friends and family.
Brooke Calhoun
Brooke Calhoun is Beauty Theory’s office manager. She is extremely passionate about creating an organized and positive work environment for our staff so clients can receive the luxury experience they deserve. Brooke spends a lot of time behind the camera working to capture clients’ life-changing transformations. She enjoys being able to document the moment clients feel their most beautiful.
Most recently Brooke worked in marketing at the Ron Sholes Law Firm for four years, and prior to that she was a medical assistant at Anodyne Pain & Wellness. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her baby, working on interior decorating projects, and making memories with her family.
Dana Smith
Dana Smith is the medical assistant here at Beauty Theory. Prior to joining the Beauty Theory team, Dana was a hairstylist for almost ten years and an elementary school paraprofessional for five. A Jacksonville native, she is married to her high school sweetheart and has three beautiful daughters. The Smiths keep very busy on the weekends playing travel softball and volleyball.
